Georgia Kyriacou
Co-Owner and Chiropractor (Mcc)
Where do I begin?
So first off, I was born, raised and educated in Victoria, Australia. I moved to the UK (by myself) in early 2016. The UK has always been a special place for me, having been raised on BBC drama, and reading the greats such as Austen, Dickens and Shakespeare to name a few. I hoped from an early age that I would end up in the UK at some point, but I was never sure when or for how long. Yet here I still am; married and all!
To the point however. My journey to becoming a Chiropractor started at the age of 12. My dad took me to one to see if they could help with the period pain I was experiencing, and from then on, I knew what I wanted to do!
I had decided when I was about 8 years old that I wanted to do something in the Health sector but wasn’t sure what UNTIL: Chiropractic. From then on I put all my energy towards achieving that goal - even studying Chemistry (argh WHY?!) in my final year of school. Despite the woes of Chemistry (sorry to all those Chemists out there!) I succeeded in being accepted into RMIT University’s Chiropractic program, which was a three year Bachelor and 2 year Masters degree. I graduated in 2014 with a Master of Clinical Chiropractic and worked in rural Victoria for 14 months before moving to the UK and joining a busy clinic in Worthing.
I LOVE to read, so when I’m not working I’ve often got my nose stuck in a book, oblivious to the rest of the world! I enjoy being out about in nature, exploring the world, and won’t say no to climbing a tree! I also have a passion for animals, and one of my goals for the future is to study Veterinary Chiropractic.
